Blue Clover Named Agency of Record for Falcon International Bank
San Antonio, Texas – Falcon International Bank has named Blue Clover its agency of record for advertising, marketing, and public relations initiatives. Blue Clover will provide integrated communications services of both on- and off-line branding to Falcon International Bank, a $320-million bank serving the Laredo market for 16 years. Falcon opened its first San Antonio branch in 2001.
Blue Clover, who will serve in the account management role, formed a strategic alliance with inHOUSE Consulting Group and Second Shift Marketing Solutions Company because of their expertise in public relations and strategic management respectively. “Our partners represent the best in their disciplines,” said Jose Sena, president and CEO of Blue Clover. “We are thrilled to be working with them.”
After a competitive and comprehensive review process that included several San Antonio agencies, Blue Clover was selected to help meet the Falcon International Bank’s communication needs. “Blue Clover understands our brand and our customers,” said Adolfo E. Also, American Banker ranked Falcon number 57 on its list for return on assets, covering the first quarter of 2003. The ranking included all independent banks with less than $1 billion in assets. Another trade publication, Independent Banker, ranked Falcon number two on its list of Top Return on Assets Subchapter S Banks (banks with $250 million-$500 million in assets) and Top Return on Equity Subchapter S Banks for the same asset range. In addition, the National Bankers Association (NBA) awarded Falcon the coveted 2003 NBA High Performance Bank Award for the second year in a row – recognizing the minority and women-owned bank that has demonstrated consistent leadership and performance in various rating categories extrapolated from the UBPR.
The bank has four locations in Laredo, a branch in San Antonio and a representative office in Monterrey, Mexico. It has plans to open two additional branches in San Antonio in 2004.
