Blue Clover Named Creative Firm for City of Cibolo
San Antonio, TX – When the fastest growing city in the fastest growing state in the U.S. needed a top notch firm to develop a new brand to represent its economic development division, they chose Blue Clover.
Why? The client says it best: “The City of Cibolo is proud of its rich history,” said Nancy McBeth, Director of Community Development for the City of Cibolo. “We selected Blue Clover due to their credentials as one of the state’s preeminent creative design and marketing firm. Blue Clover’s service is second to none: their savvy and creative approach, as well as their ability to work as a team member with the City by assisting the facilitation of our goals. It is a bonus that we are happy to have discovered at the beginning of our relationship – one which we consider integral to current and future success. I consider Blue Clover an extension of my staff and a partner with the City.”
The City of Cibolo hired San Antonio-based Blue Clover to develop a new official city seal, logo, tagline/positioning statement, website and stationery. Blue Clover uniquely mixes electronic branding through award-winning websites, e-commerce, SEO and content manageable systems with traditional tools including name and logo development, public relations, direct mail and special events planning. The goal of the new brand for Cibolo is to highlight the city’s pride in its history and vision of its future, especially in the economic development division. It will incorporate elements of each of these to illustrate Cibolo’s independence and identity.
“Blue Clover is pleased to work with a city with such a wonderful past and even more promising future,” says José B. Sena, CEO and president of Blue Clover. “Now that we have the tagline, ‘Expand Your Vision,’ along with a new logo and city seal, we can incorporate the city’s vision for the future into a website that highlights how far the city has come in recent years and its audacious goals for the next few years.”
Cibolo is located approximately 13 miles east of San Antonio, the 10th largest city in the United States and the fastest growing city in the fastest growing state in the nation, according to the 2006 U.S. Census. With a rich history in the development of south Texas, the city has retained its charming country-style way of life and honors its original Native American habitants in whose language the city’s name means “buffalo.”
<pThe city has already incorporated the new logo into several of its collateral pieces, including shirts, jackets and office signs. The logo is also displayed on all city vehicles. Soon, entryways into the city will display signage displaying the city seal, alerting those entering the City of Cibolo of their location.Blue Clover focuses on merging traditional and interactive disciplines to maximize the brand relationship between the company and the customer.
