Blue Clover Named Creative Firm for The Blake
Gulf Breeze, FL – When Glenn Barclay, administrator/owner of Blake Management, LLC in Ridgeland, Miss., was looking for a firm to develop a new brand to represent its luxury retirement community in the Florida panhandle, he chose Blue Clover.
“Our goal was to provide senior housing and wellness services that were completely innovative and ‘out of the box,’” said Barclay. “We literally wanted to redefine and set the new standard for senior care. We knew that our marketing materials and public information needed to convey our philosophy in a way that was unique to the senior housing industry. Blue Clover has delivered and conveyed our philosophy and vision in every aspect of our branding, Web site design and collaterals.”
Blake Management hired San Antonio-based Blue Clover to develop a logo and tagline, Web site, and collateral materials for The Blake at Gulf Breeze. Blue Clover uniquely mixes electronic branding through award-winning websites, e-commerce, SEO and content manageable systems with traditional tools including name and logo development, public relations, direct mail and special events planning. The goal of the new brand for The Blake is to highlight its living experience.
“Blue Clover is exciting about working with Blake Management to establish the presence of its new resort-style, home-like community for retired people,” says José B. Sena, CEO and president of Blue Clover. “We will capture the well-being, security, longevity, family and self-worth that The Blake provides its residents.”
The Blake’s Florida community is the first project of a long-term goal. Blake Management plans to open similar facilities throughout the southern states.
Blue Clover focuses on merging traditional and interactive disciplines to maximize the brand relationship between the company and the customer. The pioneering design firm was established in 2003 by marketing experts and partners José B. Sena, Juan Barrera and Chris Gilbert. The growing staff now includes five partners, with Ryan Kelly and Jody Tidwell, and 17 full-time creative, technology and management professionals with extensive traditional and multicultural marketing, public relations and web-based communication experience from throughout the world. In July 2007, the firm opened a new office in Atlanta to serve its southeast customers, hiring Tidwell and Jason Lewis as president and vice president of the southeast division.
This innovative talent and relentless drive has distinguished Blue Clover as an award-winning firm, including a place in PRINT Magazine’s 2006 Regional Design Annual (the most comprehensive competition annual in the design profession), San Antonio Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, San Antonio Business Journal’s Fast Track list for two years in a row; the Emerging Business Award from the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and the San Antonio Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” award for Sena, the company’s CEO and president.
