Blue Clover Picked from Field by Local, Regional Advertising Federations - Judges select website design for two top honors, district honor
San Antonio, TX – On and Off-line Branding™ firm Blue Clover received top honors at the 2007 ADDY awards at the annual San Antonio Advertising Federation ceremony. As one of five recipients of the coveted Judge’s Award, Blue Clover’s work on the Traçage Condominium website was named the best in interactive media by the local advertising federation. It then earned a Bronze ADDY at the District 10 American Advertising Federation ceremony in late April, which includes the best designs from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
The ADDY® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDY Awards represent the true creative spirit of advertising by recognizing all forms of advertising, from all types of media, created by all sizes and types of entrants, from anywhere in the world.
San Antonio-based Blue Clover is a pioneering design firm that focuses on merging traditional and interactive disciplines to maximize the brand relationship between a company and its customers. The judges, participating from advertising agencies from across the nation, collectively handpicked the Traçage (pronounced Tre - sagge) site located at www.tracageliving.com and also gave it a Gold award, another top ADDY distinction. Blue Clover developed the Traçage website as an interactive site that gives viewers the opportunity to browse through all condominium floor plan options while incorporating newly developed 3-D technology that offers “real life” examples of views from the higher floors.
“There is little else that compares with being recognized by your peers,” said José B. Sena, president and CEO of Blue Clover. “The Traçage project represents what we strive for with each of our clients: the perfect blend of traditional marketing with new technology to highlight the key feature of the product, in this case, a high standard of living. We are honored that the judges recognized how well it accomplished its goal.”
Specializing in working with organizations to develop a cohesive message that spans through digital and traditional mediums, Blue Clover was also recognized with an ADDY Silver award for the Traçage Condominiums brochure and a Bronze award for the Traçage logo. In addition, Blue Clover received ADDY Silver awards for three other projects, as well as three Bronze awards for projects including a logo, restaurant menu design and a website, all together demonstrating the branding firm’s depth of talent.
Since the company’s founding three and one-half years ago, Blue Clover has been recognized in previous years with seven other Gold, seven Silver, seven Bronze and three Merit ADDY awards. The San Antonio-based firm was established in 2003 by marketing experts and partners José B. Sena, Juan Barrera and Chris Gilbert. The staff now includes full-time creative, technology and management professionals with extensive traditional and multicultural marketing, public relations and web-based communication experience from throughout the world.
This innovative talent and relentless drive has distinguished Blue Clover as an award-winning firm, including San Antonio Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, San Antonio Business Journal’s Fast Track list; the Emerging Business Award from the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and the San Antonio Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” award for Sena, the company’s CEO and president. The firm recently opened a new office in downtown Atlanta, Ga., to serve its growing client base in the southeast.
