Gonzales named PR Account Executive at Blue Clover

San Antonio, TX – Blue Clover, a versatile, highly creative On and Off-line Branding™ firm fusing strategic online and traditional marketing communications, has added Lynn Gonzales to its public relations team. This pioneering design firm focuses on merging traditional and interactive disciplines to maximize the brand relationship between the company and the customer. As an account executive, Gonzales pitches stories to local and national media outlets, writes press releases and media advisories, helps coordinate special events, writes and edits copy for marketing collateral materials and websites, and manages the firm’s blog. She has worked on projects for several Blue Clover clients, including Workforce Solutions (a non-profit workforce and employment organization that serves the Rio Grande Valley); Arquitectonica (Miami-based international architecture, interior design and planning firm); SLR Labor Works (a local, family-owned company that fills seasonal and temporary workforce needs); Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Associates of South Texas; and Galo Properties (one of the largest single-family lot developers in South Central Texas).

Previously, Gonzales worked for North East ISD, Harcourt Assessment and the U.S. Air Force. In the past 8 years, she has won multiple top writing awards, including Air Force Space Command Print Journalist of the Year, four Gold Stars and three Silver Stars from the Texas School Public Relations Association, and an International Print Communicator Award of Distinction. She has also published articles in national news wire services, trade magazines and military newspapers throughout the world.

Gonzales is the vice president of communications, webmaster and upcoming president-elect of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)/San Antonio. She also serves as the public relations liaison for the Southwest Texas chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, is a member of the Association for Women in Communication and is a lifetime member of Cambridge Who’s Who Among Professional Women in Writing and Publishing.

A summa cum laude and distinguished graduate of St. Mary’s University, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Communication Arts in 1996 and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies in 1999. She is also an honor graduate of the Defense Information School’s Public Affairs Officer Course. Gonzales is a native of San Antonio.
